Important Senior Dates
March 30, 2021
With events like prom and graduation coming up, Principal Dr. Murrell sent emails to all seniors to keep them up-to-date on activities. Below are all of the dates and information seniors need for the next two months:
Senior Meeting
On April 13th at 9:07 in the auditorium, Dr. Murrell will hold a meeting regarding prom for in-person and virtual students. Those who can not make the meeting will be assigned a course activity in Canvas to complete.

T-shirts will be given to any student who has paid Senior Dues. Administration hopes to keep the tradition of seniors wearing their shirts the day of prom, graduation, and at the picnic.
Panoramic Senior Picture
On April 30th, the day of prom, seniors will gather in the gym wearing their senior t-shirts for a panoramic picture. One picture will be with masks on, and one will be with masks off.

Prom will be held on April 30th at the Marriott from 8:30-11:30. To attend prom, Senior Dues must be paid. Any non-senior date will be able to purchase a ticket for $65. Masks will be required at prom, and tickets will be available to pick up on the day of.
Senior Sign Day
Senior Sign Day will be held on May 13th in the front of the school. Students can send their school information through a link that will soon be provided to them. Masks are required but are allowed off for pictures.
Senior Awards
On May 17th, recognized seniors will be acknowledged for their hard work during their high school years. Students are asked to report on other seniors for scholarships, awards, and top 5% students. Awards will be given at the Woodforest Bank Stadium at 7:30 p.m. and staff and students will be required to wear a mask. Guests are encouraged to also wear a mask.
Senior Last Walk
The Senior Last Walk is the last walk through College Park’s halls. From the day parents dropped students off at kindergarten to their last day of high school, this is a moment to recognize hard work and accomplishment. Though parents are not allowed in the school, they are directed to meet students at the side entrance near the gyms to celebrate with their students. This will be held on May 21st at 9:20 a.m.
Graduation
Graduation falls on May 24th this year at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Graduates will practice at College Park at 8:00 a.m. and will report to the Pavilion at 6:00-6:30 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 7. This event will be at 100% capacity and students and staff are required to wear masks. Masks are optional for guests.
Senior Picnic*
On the day of graduation, the senior picnic will be held at the backfields by the baseball fields. Food and games will be supplied as part of Senior Dues. This is a come and go event.
Grad Night
Grad Night will be held at Main Event on the night of graduation. There will be a fee for this event that is not included in Senior Dues. Donations are encouraged.
*Senior Dues allow seniors to participate in these activities. It is suggested to pay Senior Dues by April 2nd to receive a t-shirt.
