Ever since last year, The Paladin’s coverage has been fairly consistent and diverse. After making a switch to an online format, the school newspaper became more accessible and timely with the freedom that technology gave. Things were looking up for journalism! Then Covid-19 hit. The staff ended up being five people. Five people meant to keep their hands on the pulse of a 3000-person school.  While everybody on the staff is entirely capable, we need your help. 

This year there is an entirely new club on campus. The TWCP Newspaper Club. It used to be that only staff members wrote for the school paper. Now more than ever, we need new perspectives and interests to corner the market on College Park happenings. 

Every other Tuesday from 2:45-3:15, members will meet in Mrs. Walton’s room (Rm. 3112) to brainstorm and assign stories. Those members will work on their assigned story, and submit it that next week to be reviewed and uploaded. As the year goes on, writing exercise and journalism history will start to be introduced, but for now, the main focus is finding more excited reporters to take on The Paladin! The first meeting will be September15th, and we hope to see you there!
